Conceived as a spiritual centre to honor the services rendered by the sage Ramana Maharshi, the group of structure incorporate the principles that were followed by Ramana Maharshi.
The principle of architectural semiotics has been extremely used in this project to symbolically represent the core principles of life. The master plan follows ‘open to sky’ architecture that incorporate series of open courtyard well integrated with partially or fully covered enclosed spaces.
The Panchabhootas, the five building blocks of universe namely, ‘Jal’ (water), ‘Tal’ (earth), ‘Vayu’ (air), ‘Aakash’ (ether) and ‘Agni’ (fire) symbolically represent the varies elements of architecture.
